The Department of Educational Sciences is seeking a colleague for the position of Research Assistant in the OP JAK project "Knowledge and Norms in a Mediated Society." This project offers a unique opportunity for PhD students or recent PhD graduates to engage in research on topics such as AI literacy among children and adults, cyberbullying prevention, or the spread of AI-generated hoaxes on the internet.

 

MAIN JOB CONTENT

  • Analysis of secondary data and conducting research synthesis in the areas of AI literacy, cyberbullying, and the spread of AI-generated hoaxes on the internet.
  • Participation in publishing activities in international journals and presenting research findings at international conferences.

Other

  • Contribution to operational and administrative tasks related to the position, as directed by the project leader.

 

WE REQUEST

  • Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology, Data Science, or Information Science.
  • Ongoing or completed Ph.D. in Education, Psychology, Sociology, Data Science, or Information Science.
  • Specialization in one or more of the following areas: research synthesis, data science, social network analysis, data scraping, or AI-assisted content analysis.
  • Experience in the field is not required.

Language skills

  • Proficiency in English at a minimum of B2 level.
  • Excellent command of Czech, both spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of R or Python programming.

Requirements related to job content

  • Ability to conduct independent scientific research.
  • Capacity for collaborative problem-solving in complex scientific, research, or development projects within a research team.
  • Competence in presenting research findings.
  • Ability to engage in academic publishing activities.
