Academic Senate

* Regular elections have been announced for the period 2021-2023, but due to the repeated declaration of a state of emergency in the Czech Republic in connection with the Covid-19 disease pandemic, the timeframe of this term of office has been postponed to the period between 23 May 2021 and 22 May 2024, in accordance with the wording of Act No. 188/2020 Coll., on special rules for education and decision-making at universities in 2020 and on the assessment of the duration of studies for the purposes of other acts.

Regular elections for the term 2021-2023

Announcement of elections

In accordance with Article 6 of the AS MU Election Regulations, the AS MU Chairman has announced elections to the MU Academic Senate for the term of office 2021-2023.

The elections are being held in the E-votes application in the MU IS and are organised according to the following schedule:

• 11-30 October 2020: deadline for submission of candidatures.
• 2-3 November 2020: deadline for publication of candidates in each constituency.
• 23-30 November 2020: the polling days.

Communication with the AS MU Election and Mandate Committee (including notifications of candidatures) should be directed exclusively to the address "asmu.vmk@muni.cz" from the IS MU (via the "IS Mail" application in the authenticated part of the IS MU).

Election results

On 7 December 2020, the AS MU Election and Mandate Committee announced the results of the AS MU elections for the 2021-2023 term.

By-elections during the 2021-2024 term

• Constituencies Faculty of Economics and Administration – students, Faculty of Informatics – students, and Faculty of Social Studies – students (September to October 2022) - announcement including the schedule of tasks and deadlines, voting results, announcement of results by the Election and Mandate Committee
• By-elections to the AS MU, constituencies of the Faculty of Law – students, Pharmaceutical Faculty – students and Pharmaceutical Faculty – academic staff (December 2023 to January 2024): announcement incl. the schedule of tasks and deadlines, voting results, announcement of the results by the Election and Mandate Committee
