He grew up in Paris and began his bachelor's studies first in Le Havre and then in Rennes but was lured abroad for his master's degree. French student Jean-Marc Sorbé Domergue was attracted by the newly opened French-English double degree programme between Masaryk University and the Université de Rennes.
Masaryk University has produced a new video ad to promote itself abroad. Tuhina Mishra, a student with Japanese and Indian roots who graduated from the Faculty of Medicine this year, played the lead role.
Naeem Malek has always been drawn to research, so he started studying at the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University. But after a few years, he discovered that medicine was not for him and started studying pharmacy.
For more than forty years, students at Deakin University in Melbourne have been able to study their entire degree programme off-campus. Australian Emma Bolton is also completing her Bachelor's degree in this way. In her four years of study, she has never had a full-time class - until now at Masaryk University.

The Faculty of Medicine offers specialized preparatory courses designed for students who wish to study General Medicine or Dentistry in English. The programmes are focused on acquiring the secondary school skills and knowledge of chemistry, biology, physics and Czech language essential for the success at the entrance examination and the first-year studies
