University measures taken regarding COVID-19
- MU is operating following the university traffic-light system. The risk assessment level is currently WHITE. It is not compulsory to wear respirators in all MU buildings.
- All covid-19 policies related to entering the country have been suspended. See also current restrictions in the Czech Republic.

MU is operating following the university traffic-light system. The university currently has a “WHITE LIGHT” rating, determined by the MU Crisis Board. University faculties, institutes, and offices may declare a higher alert level than the university-wide level or introduce stricter rules than elsewhere at the university. Follow the websites of individual faculties and the colour-coded signs hanging on the exteriors of MU buildings.

20th MU expedition heads to Antarctica
The 20th Masaryk University expedition to the Antarctic will be made up of 24 participants. Some members of the expedition have already arrived at the CZ*ECO Nelson base on Nelson Island, while the main part of the expedition team will leave on Wednesday 24 January for the Mendel Polar Station on James Ross Island, where they will spend two months.

She was so impressed by the student city, its architecture, and the modern facilities of Masaryk University that she immediately started looking if the university offers her field of study.

Security at MU: early warning and police cooperation in prevention
Masaryk University has established an emergency communication and management system and is now working on increasing security. These issues are being addressed by the MU management and the Rector’s Board, whose members include deans as the highest representatives of individual faculties.
