On 16th and 17th September 2021 the Department of English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University in Brno, will organize the Ninth International Brno Conference on Linguistics Studies in English. Patterns and Variation in English Language Discourse, the aim of which is to invite researchers and university teachers from the Czech Republic and abroad to present and discuss their current research projects. The conference focuses on the way English discourse studies reflect the patterns and variation in the English language in the modern world. The papers presented at conference will be published in a proceedings volume.
