Grants Week 2017

The Research Office RMU would like to invite you to the 3rd year of the Grants Week taking 11 till 13 October 2017.
The Grants Week brings practical information about major national and international grant providers, such as Czech Science Foundation (GAČR), Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TAČR), Ministry of Education Youth and Sports or the programme of European Commission, Horizon 2020. The Grants Week will also touch on the selected aspects of research projects such as Intellectual Property Rights or ethical questions.
In particular we would like to stress the talk of Dr. Sean McCarthy, a renowned expert on the EC programmes with more than 30 years of exceptional experience. Since 1980 Dr. McCarthy has been actively participating in analysis and evaluation of the EC framework Research and Innovation programmes, has been involved in more than 150 projects under EC and gained wealth of experience as an EC project proposals evaluator in 10 different EC framework programmes. As one of the very few he can clearly and simply explain how to prepare a competitive project proposal step-by-step and succeed in the EU Research and Innovation Programs, such as Horizon 2020.
