25 Years of the Czech Constitution

The Czech constitution, as the main law of the Czech legislation, provides a basis upon which the Czech Republic is built. During the past two and a half decades, the situation has changed on state, regional as well as systematic level. The most notable changes have been related to the European Union and transformation processes within the country itself. The development also brought a number of challenges that translated into calls for the constitutional update. The conference aims at providing a reflection of the Czech constitutional development as well as views on the possible development of the constitution.
