Lyschka, Lischka, or Liška? The painter as subject of different art historical interpretations

The lecture of Polish art historian Emilia Kłoda will present the prominent painter of High Baroque in Central-Europe Jan Kryštof Liška (1650-1712) and the different interpretations of his personality and work that were constructed in different times by different art historiographies mostly on national and ideological bases.
