The aim of the lecture is to present the possibilities of theoretical and methodological thinking about radio production through structural theory. The lecture is based on the author's dissertation research and demonstrates the relevance of the use of structuralism in the analysis of a radio work on specific examples.
Basic theoretical theses, methodological difficulties and traditions of structural approach in radio theory will be presented. The key theoretical basis of the lecture will be the revision of structural and semiotic texts by Jiří Veltruský, proving their usability in radio theory, especially in the field of radio directing and radio acting.
