The war that changed Rondo

The final guest of the series is translator Lucie Řehoříková. With her daughter, she translated the book The War that Changed Rondo. "This illustrated book explains to children what war is. We are publishing the book bilingually, in Ukrainian and Czech, so that it can also serve as a language tool for Ukrainian children. It has already won many awards," said Petr Minařík from the publishing house Větrné mlýny. The book's authors are Ukrainian artists Romana Romanyshyn and Andriy Lesiv, members of the Agrafka studio.

The event is part of the accompanying program to the exhibition of Jaroslav Pulicar's photographs East of Brno. FF MU would like to symbolically support battle-stricken Ukraine with the exhibition and the accompanying program.
