The guest lecture by visiting professor Johnson Chia-Shen Yang

Zdeněk Dvořák, M.D., Ph.D., invitation to the guest lecture by visiting professor Johnson Chia-Shen Yang, MD, PhD, FACS, "Supermicrosurgical Lymphaticovenous Anastomosis for Lymphedema Treatment".
Professor Yang is a world leader and innovator in the field of supermicrosurgical lymphedema treatment using lymphovenous anastomosis (LVA) and is the author of more than 70 impacted publications in the field of reconstructive microsurgery and major, innovative publications on LVA. His concept of lower limb lymphedema treatment is considered a pioneering one by the professional community.
Currently, Professor Yang is the Chairman of the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital and the Director of the Surgical Center of Excellence for Lymphatic Diseases.
Professor Isao Koshima named Professor Yang's Taiwan research group as the world's most outstanding in the field of LVA treatment of lymphedema in the upcoming 10 years.

The lecture will take place on the 5th of September at 1:00 pm at the Bohunice Campus, the Faculty of Medicine, Brno, room B11/234.
