LASER – a powerful tool in the hands of an analytical chemist

At the lecture, you will learn about spectroscopic methods and you will learn what a revolution these methods have undergone thanks to the invention of the laser.

Let's talk about the principle of the laser and also about its construction. We will take a closer look at the methods by which we can determine the elemental composition of any material, even at a distance. We will show examples of use in non-traditional environments, such as under the sea surface or on cosmic bodies.
