From Monday, 17 May, Czech Republic to ease some restrictions
On Monday, 17 May, some restriction will ease. Gatherings are now limited up to 10 people indoors and up to 50 people outdoors, the condition is negative test, vaccination or previous infection. Outside seatings of restaurants can be opened as of Monday 17 May.
Starting Monday 17 May, up to 10 people can meet indoors and up to 50 people outdoors. The condition is a negative test, vaccination or previous infection. If conditions are not met, the limit of a maximum of 2 people in one place applies.
Outdoor cultural events can also resume from Monday 17 May, capacity is limited to 50 percent (max. 700 people). The same rules apply as above (vaccination, testing or previous infection, wearing respirators).
Outside seatings of restaurants can be opened as well. Only four persons can sit at one table. Customers will have to present negative test results, proof of vaccination, or proof of having already had COVID-19. Take out through windows is permitted (restaurants without outdoor seatings).
Gyms and other indoor sports facilities can reopen, with testing and occupancy limits. Indoor swimming pools, saunas and wellness centres are still closed.
