MU testing centre increases capacity for students
From Wednesday 12 May, students may schedule a Covid-19 test at Brno Exhibition Centre for any day of the week.
Students of all years of study have returned to face-to-face classes and may also be physically present at examinations. However, this is conditional on having a negative Covid-19 test result. For this reason, effective from Wednesday 12 May, Masaryk University has increased the range of available time slots for student testing at Brno Exhibition Centre. Everyone can find free time slots in the MU registration system available in the IS.
The MU testing point at Brno Exhibition Centre is situated near Gate 1 pedestrian entrance, close to the “Výstaviště – hlavní vstup” tram/trolleybus stop. Students should come right on the scheduled time and have their insurance card with them. After testing, students will receive their results within 60 minutes via a text message sent to their Czech or Slovak phone number.
As before, students may get administered an antigen test also at any other testing centre operated by a health services provider. When returning to class for the first time, a student’s test result must not be older than two days. Students must upload their test results in the IS. The results for students who get tested at Brno Exhibition Centre will be uploaded to the IS automatically.
For more detailed information, see the Student Testing tab on the MU website.
