New Government guidance for accommodation in dormitories
Accommodation in Masaryk University (MU) dormitories will be affected by Covid-19 in the upcoming semester, too. New government orders have specified the measures students will have to comply with to use MU dormitories. Effective 31 August 2021, students will be asked to submit one of the following documents before checking in for accommodation:
- a proof they have recovered from Covid-19, as documented by a laboratory certificate;
- a negative RT-PCR test result for SARS-CoV-2 not older than 7 days, or a negative rapid antigen test (RAT) result for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 antigen not older than 72 hours; otherwise
- the students will receive a rapid antigen test (RAT kit for non-specialists) on site for self-testing, or they will be asked to submit (using an online service) a negative result of an RAT test administered by a healthcare professional, where the test result must not be older than 24 hours.
The above documents must be re-submitted every 7 days (except for the proof of vaccination or recovery from Covid-19, which are submitted only once before the students check in for accommodation).
If a student fails to submit any of the above proofs, he or she will not be allowed to check in for accommodation in the dormitories.
