Public Health Department has banned in-person teaching at universities in Brno
The Regional Public Health Department in Brno has banned in-person teaching at all Brno universities, including Masaryk University, starting on Thursday 23 September. Exceptions include individual consultations, individual visits to libraries and study rooms, examinations up to 10 people and laboratories, experimental and artistic work up to 15 people. Clinical, practical teaching and traineeships are also allowed.
From 23 September until further notice, the Regional Public Health Department in Brno orders emergency measures due to the epidemiological situation in the districts of Brno-město, Brno-venkov, Hodonín. These measures include a ban on in-person teaching.
Exceptions include:
- individual visits to libraries and study rooms,
- individual consultations,
- examinations up to 10 people
- laboratories, experimental and artistic work up to 15 people
- clinical, practical teaching and traineeships
