This project describes the continuating and finishing remainings parts of the Codex diplomaticus et epistolaris regni Bohemiae (CDB), the basic critical edition of the Czech charters from the period of Přemyslides, and absolutely inevitable base for the compiling of older Czech history. In present time CDB represents computer supported edition. The aim of the project is an acquisition of the digitalized pictures of charters and seals from this period. Project is intended to extend the existing informati on system CDB (nowadays contains texts of charters and documentary data pertaining to them) for digitalized pictures. The work is based on a new technology of pictures scanning, developed at Institut for Classical Studies in project Clavis monumentorum l itterarum (CML), with a digital camera, which warrants intact scanning of sources.
