This project is focused on a complex analysis of the history textbooks used in junior high schools in addition to those used in th first years of multi-year high schools. When it comes to modern analytical methods, there si an information gap concerning the characteristics and functions of educational texts in general. This information gap is present not only in the educational community but also in the authors of the textbooks themselves. To this very day, we´re still missing a set of normative parameters which would be compulsory for the creation of boht textbooks and the standardized models of those textbooks. In our project we use such quantitative and qualitative methods of evaluation. General regard is given to the final requirements of the Framing educational program for elementary schools and its realization in recent textbooks on our educational markets. From the data obtained, we would like to create a universal model for history textbooks used in junior high schools and multi-year high schools.
