Problem Situation Solving by the Means of Theatre Forum

Theatre Forum uses an active approach of the audience to a positive change in problem solving. Through the realization of Theatre Forum comes to the solution of an actual problem, its understanding, to the discussion and to better empathy among people. Theatre Forum can promote the prevention of pathological phenomena at schools. We decided to open a subject Problem Situation Solving by the Means of Theatre Forum, because it is this form that enables the school children to solve the problems they have. It is a two-semester course, taught two hours a week. During the first semester the students learn the theory, carry aoout an analysis of the most frequent conflicts. They learn how to use the methods of drama education and create an own performance on chosen topic. In the second semester they implement the performance in concrete schools. The performance will be videorecorded and the record will subsequently be analyzed. The faculty will further stay in contact with the class concerned.
