The staphylococci and micrococci are one of most common bacteria which are widely spread in a nature. The members of these genus are commonly isolated from the human mucocutaneous sites as well as from the mammals and birds. They are mainly the natural inhabitants but certain staphylococci as well as micrococci are also found as the important humans and animal pathogens.
Some of staphylococci which were consider as non pathogenic are found in human clinically significant specimens in present.
It is important to support a biotyping by some of the molecular tools because of high biochemical similarity of certain staphylococci. The previous studies imply that both ribotyping and the whole-cell protein analysis are reliable and suitable methods for typing of the grammpositive bacteria.
