The aim of the project is an analysis of royal entries in medieval Moravia with special emphasis on the four main royal towns where ritual and symbolic aspects of the entry were most developed. The project directs attention to the issues connected with representation of the ruler, his court, municipality and other participants, including the Jews. It concentrates also on genesis and transformation of entry ceremonies and their records in collections of land law, on town´s expenses of reception and donation to the monarch and expenses of celebrations, on frequency of entries and their typology. Analyses of single topics will be summarized and put into the context of history of the country in a monograph.
