The project focuses on the development of key competences of doctoral and postdoctoral students for science and research. The project aim is to alow doctoral and postdoctoral students of the Faculty of Economics and Administration develop their skills related to the preparation, implementation and management of international projects. The means employed is a two-day workshop prepared and led by experienced foreign specialists.

Results

A two-day workshop entitled "Researcher Development Training – Knowledge and Skills for Research Project Management within an International Context“ was held on October 22 - 23, 2014 at the Faculty of Economics and Administration of the Masaryk University. Altogether 18 students and young academic workers took part in the seminar, 15 of them from the Faculty of Economics and Administration (16 applicants had been registered, one of them did not take part because of illness) and 3 participants from other faculties of the Masaryk University(FSS, FSPS, FMED). The lecturer of the seminar was Dr. Robin Henderson, a staff worker of the Scottish consulting company My Consultants. The seminar was lead in an inter-active form, with training methods of work applied. The participants received a forty-page study text. A survey was carried out after the conclusion of the seminar in order to get feedback from the participants. The seminar enjoyed a very positive acclaim among the participants, both from the point of view of the contents and seminar leading.
