The aim of the workshop will be to bring together American and Czech mathematicians with specialities in several complex variables, complex and CR geometry, partial differential equations and parabolic geometry. It will be anchored around, on the one hand, the mathematics of U.S. researchers especially the school of J. J. Kohn, in several complex variables and associated partial differential equations, on the other hand the Czech school with specialities in CR geometry and its invariants, invariant differential operators on manifolds, and parabolic geometry.
