A part of my thesis with the title "Czech and Slovak Piano Literature of the Second Half of the Twentieth Century" includes the production of a compact disc. I am currently practising works of outstanding Czech music composers of the second half of the 20th century which I am going to record in the JAMU concert hall. The CD will be a part of my thesis serving as a promotional material of The Department of Music at the same time. The project will be finished in the end of October 2008 at the latest and my studies by the end of 2008. The project will allow joining theoretical research activity with artistic interpretation of the analyzed works.
