The aim of the proposed project is implementation of digitalization (scanning) imperial digest from 1849 - 1918 and to create virtual library. There are cca 70 thousand pages of legal and legislative rules which were valid in our region in the mentioned time period.
Nowadays, these legal enactments are available in the printed form in the Czech Republic just only in selected (special) libraries and there are also available in the internet but only in the original German language and this second possibility is for Czech researchers very limiting factor. This project aloows long-distance access to these legal enactments whenerver and no matter where for the user via internet or by published DVD. These information will be used not only by students of Faculty of Law for writing their diploma theses, but also by students of all historical fields of study and also by the general public in the Czech Republic and in the Slovak Republic.
