The proposed project is a part of the ongoing research for a dissertation which deals with English theatre of the Restoration and early 18th century, and particularly focuses on the popular theatre genres of the period. The aim of the project is to get funding for a five-day research trip to the British Library which will enable the study of otherwise unavailable primary materials. That will lead to a presentation of an original paper at an international conference and later to the submission of an article manuscript for publication in a relevant journal.
