The identification of novel “neural-crest like” cellular populations within the developing brain

This project aspirates to explore the feasible presence of the “neural crest-like" Wnt1+ cellular populations individually localised within the distinct regions of the developing central nervous system. Resembling traditional neural crest cells, these cell niches generate diverse types of cells including epithelial and neuronal cell types.
