The presented Summary Research Report was prepared as an output of the contract research, which was implemented between the Faculty of Economics and Administration of Masaryk University and KORDIS JMK, a.s. The subject and objective of the research was to map the intensity of freight transport on the main routes in the South Moravian Region. The analysis of traffic flows was based on data from toll gates of the Road and Motorway Directorate of the Czech Republic and on directional data of Kordis. The essence of the research was to map international transit traffic passing through the territory of the South Moravian Region.
