The CEEPUS network Study of Religions connects nine university institutions, which are settled in Brno (Department for the Study of Religions/Masaryk University), Prague (Institute of Asian Studies/Charles University), Krakow (Religious Studies/Jagiellonian University), Vienna (Institut für Südasien-, Tibet- und Buddhismuskunde, Institut für Religionswissenschaft and Institute of Practical Theology/University of Vienna), Bratislava (Department of Comparative Religion and Department of East Asian Studies/Comenius University) and Szeged (Department for the Study of Religions/University of Szeged). The network enables the participating institutes to increase their academic mobility, to strengthen cooperation in teaching and research activities and to enrich their curricula in the field of Religious Studies and Oriental studies. Besides regular teachers and students exchange, we encourage the development of joint degree study programme and joint supervision of doctoral theses (these en cotutelle).
