Safeguards and guarantees to children’s personal data protection: benefits and challenges under the current EU and US legislative framework

The project aims to research the level of protection of personal data of children in the EU since the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the constantly and rapidly evolving landscape of the internet where personal data are gathered and/or subsequently processed. The objective of the project is to seek primary data from the EU institutes who are responsible and deal with the daily challenges and the effectiveness of GDPR in the protection of children’s personal data.
