The project is aimed at supporting a cooperative partnership between VÚDPaP and IVDMR, which have similar areas of activity and both organisations have identified the need for a deeper understanding of the impact of hoaxes, misinformation, conspiracies and propaganda (HoDeKoPro theme) on young people in the online environment. The collaborative partnership will focus on a deeper understanding of the scope of the topic in different sectors and disciplines, exploration of examples of good practice in addressing the topic, and direct portrayal of young people on the topic. Within the project we will prepare and implement: - the creation of a Czech-Slovak interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary platform on the topic of HoDeKoProM - we will hold a series of discussion meetings with relevant experts across sectors - we will support the exchange and sharing of experiences, supporting the building of expertise on the topic. We will also conduct a series of 5 focus groups in SK and 5 focus groups in CZ aimed at understanding the image of young people aged 13-19 on the HoDeKoPro topic. The project will result in defining the areas of the HoDeKoPro theme in the online environment and its impact on young people's experiences, as well as elaborating theoretical background on the HoDeKoProM theme and summarizing examples of good practice in the Czech Republic, SK and other countries. Last but not least, the project will bring the identification of areas for developing skills of youth workers in school and out-of-school settings in the field of critical thinking, as well as eliminating HoDeKoPro's negative impact on youth.
