PPSŘ Excellence of study programmes - Master of Science in Human Biology (Master of Science in Human Biology)

The Human Biology program focuses on the study of humans and their genetic information. This study programme is the only one in the Czech Republic. Graduates of the program are able to conduct research on recent human populations, but also can conduct complex processing of historical populations up to paleogenetic research on ancient DNA.
The programme has good laboratory facilities at the Masaryk University Campus in Brno Bohunice. It has unique laboratories adapted to the study of aDNA from archaeological material. The aim of the study programme is also to motivate students and enable them to acquire other knowledge that belongs to the cultural outlook and social dimension of university studies.
We want to develop the excellence of the study programme by offering new opportunities for knowledge development, internationalisation, socialisation and broadening the cultural outlook.
