The project serves for realization of the research of PhDr. Lenka Doležalová. Within the work of the suggested project is supposed to make a manual of basic methods by contact with hearing impaired students at the university. This manual have to help teachers at the university with problems during the communication with hearing impaired people and their preparation for the classes.

Results

Result of the project is creation of the aforementioned manual, aim is to make available path to university teachers for better understanding of specific situation of the student with hearing impairment at university, outline possibilities and difficulties of communication with hearing impairment. Assistance in preparation for education, in which the student with hearing impairment is present, to be able to eliminate emergence of various problems and the associated long-term and difficult solutions.


It focuses primarily on:

  • to define terminology field of education of hearing impaired and.
  • basis for the hearing impaired tertiary education and its benefits for students
  • brief characterization of job description of the Center for aiding students with special needs - Teiresiás;
  • principles for communication with hearing impairment (with hard of hearing X heavily affected by hearing / deaf students), it means: conditions for successful lip-reading, sign language interpreter's role in teaching and its position in communication process, etc.;
  • practical recommendations for teaching, in which the student with hearing impairment is present;
  • contact address on institutions and organizations dedicated to hearing impaired;
  • hyperlinks;
  • technical bibliography.
