The aim of the project is a total reconstruction of former Jesuit college consisting of construction works and monumental care. The reconstruction of historical object placed in the UNESCO protected historical area of the town Telč will contribute not only to the preservation of cultural heritage but it will also extend the education offer and possibility of development of the region. Within the reconstruction the total capacity of the complex will be amplified and there will be established a library, information/consultancy centre and other facilities. Consequently, the college will house the EUROPEAN CENTRE FOR CULTURAL HERITAGE – a research and educative base for cooperation of Masaryk University and its partners in the field of cultural heritage and its protection.
