| Description | The article deals with the analysis of the status of the construction sector in the national economies of Austria and Czech Republic, as well as their mutual comparison. It provides insight into the characteristic features of the development of construction sector in the period of 1995 to 2010 based on available statistics. The article captures the impact of ongoing financial and economic crisis in the construction sector compared with other sector of the national economy of the surveyed countries. On the basis of available data it comments accessible analysis and assumptions for the construction sector. |
