Description | Reinhart Koselleck’s book Critique and Crisis similarly as the famous Dialectic of Enlightenment (Adorno and Horkheimer) looks for a connection between the Enlightenment thought and the modern catastrophe of totalitarianism. Koselleck develops important conceptual distinctions in his book between politics and society as well as morality and politics which are highly relevant also for our contemporary world. His core thesis about the relationship between conceptual structures and political practices can serve us to develop a stimulative theoretical discussion. |
