| Description | The author presents results of interpretation abilities and reception of artistic text of primary school pupils. The aim of the paper is to contribute to clarifying the issue of understanding artistic texts by foreign pupils attending Czech primary schools in comparison with Czech pupils of the same age. The author finds out that foreign pupils have lesser vocabulary and they lack deeper knowledge of the Czech cultural traditions. The author looks for the ways to enabling foreign pupils to understand both factual and aesthetic meaning levels of artistic texts. |
