Description | The concept of informed intervention is based on knowledge of individual differences between children and its aim is to meet their individual educational needs. It may be defined by the interventional concept of empowerment-support-guidance, which we believe to be more appropriate than the interventional concept of repression, restriction, resocialization, which aims to meet the needs and interests of children’s social environment. In the article we present children’s perspectives on and their attitudes towards intervention as illustrated by some of the findings of our researches in the field of behavioral difficulties. We emphasize role of children’s interpretations of the process of intervention as a key part of intervention. |
