| Description | The presentaion explains up-to-date state of knowledge in the mechanism of myopia development, based on both animal models and large clinical trials. Different approaches in the myopia progression management are discussed. Special attention is devoted to the pharmacological intervention, the use of progressive spectacle lenses, orthokeratology principle and multizone soft contact lenses. |
