Description | Bohn’s nodules are developmental cysts of the newborn. They are felt to be asymptomatic and generally no treatment is necessary but parents often fear that the child has a serious disease. This case study presents the occurrence of Bohn’s nodules in the 18-day-old newborn and 6-month-old infant. Both children were referred to the Stomatological Clinic, St. Anne’s Faculty Hospital in Brno because of the presence of whitish nodules (elevations) localized in the vestibular area of maxillary alveolar process. |
