Description Subjective symptoms of chronic venous disease can be highly variable, appearing in all classification classes C0-C6 clinical manifestations. Quite rare clinical manifestations are asymptomatic, on the other hand, may be present even in the absence of clinical manifestations (C0) and thus present a warning against disease progression. The most commonly reported symptoms include: pain, further tightness, fatigue, tension, night cramps, feeling hot, feeling restless legs, itching, event. more. Pain indicates 40-60% of patients with chronic venous disease. The pain may be localized in areas enlarged varicose veins without this would be a superficial thrombophlebitis or may diffuse nature and even in individuals without clinical signs of disease. The intensity of pain varies according to clinical manifestations, with the severity does not always correlate. In each case has a significant impact on the quality of life of the patient. While the current hypotheses about the mechanism of venous inflammatory pain indicate its origin and was precisely elucidated the mechanism that controls the interaction between mediators of inflammation and venous receptors, it is still difficult to interpret causal relationship between venous disease and pain. Pain in leg ulcer unlike venous pain has certain distinct characteristics. Basically, a distinction is nonprocedural and procedural pain. Nonprocedural pain can be caused by loss of tissue inflammation, microbial infection, local hypoxia and pathologically altered skin around. Procedural pain is associated mainly with the exchange coverage. In any case of pain in patients with chronic venous disease can not be ignored and must incorporate the therapy into a comprehensive approach to the patient.
