Description | This chapter presents the topic of communication disorders of pre-school children. The chapter defines the most common types of impaired communication abilities and recommends approaches of teachers, special needs teachers and parents towards pre-school children with particular types of impaired communication. Several case studies are presented for illustration. Finally, the chapter offers an analysis of communication competencies at entering primary school. |
