Description The study deals with questions of self-esteem of the younger school-age pupils with specific learning disabilities. The goal of research was to find out whether the pupils, who have been diagnosed to have some type of the specific learning disabilities and who have been put into a common elementary school, have lower self-esteem in comparison to other classmates and children of their age in foreign language teaching and how the particular participants of the educational process, it means pupils, teachers and parents. The research was conducted in 2011 and 2012 as a part of the research project MSM0021622443 Special Needs of Pupils in the Context of the Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education.
