| Description | The article analyzes on selected cases of the diplomatic material from the late 13th century the legal relations with a foreign element. Documents, which are taken into account, come from the aristocratic and urban environments. It tries to answer the question of whether cross-border legal communication has some specifics. It concludes that the practice of domestic law is modified by non-mandatory rule and also by those, who compile documents and in whose favor they are drawn. In general it can be stated emphasis on formal aspects, which should be a guarantee of greater legal certainty of the recipient. |
