Description The aim of the chapter is to identify the fragmentation in the 1907 and 1911 elections on the level of three lands of the Austrian Empire forming contemporary Czech Republic. The influence of two round system on fragmentation is evaluated, fragmentation of the party competition is compared with high level of fragmentation during inter-war period, and than it is analysed whether the fragmentation in the pre-war era could be identified not only on the level of lands but on the level of electoral districts too.
