| Description | Psoriasis is a chronic, noninfectious immune mediated inflamatory disorder with dysfunction of specific and non specific immunity. the genetic background of the disease is polygenic. Nail psoriasis afftects nail matrix, nail bed, or psoriatic paronychia may occure. To evaluate the degree of nail psoriasis the NAPSI score was introduced. Nail psoriasis may lead to functional and social impairment. |
