Description Every totalitarian regime is characterized by failing to respect basic human rights and freedom which undoubtedly includes the property right. There was no difference in the case of National Socialism in Germany and in other European countries which were annexed by Nazis and the principles of Nazi law was implemented to the autonomous jurisdictions. The purpose of this paper is to highlight the interventions that have been made in property law in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia (1939-1945). In some cases, the limitation of property rights was only insignificant, but in many other cases the interventions were very strong and rough, namely confiscation of property. The peak of this measure was presented by limitation of dispositions of property owned by the Jewish population and then its aryanization.
