Description My contribution “Fascist Tendencies in Czechoslovak Legal Development” deals with similarities in legal system of Czechoslovakia in the period after the Munich agreement (so-called “Second Republic”) and the fascist Italian Kingdom. General information about fascism and differences between fascism and German National Socialism is mentioned in the first part of my article. Then I cope with the legal development of these two states, Italy and Czechoslovakia, in comparative perspective. Namely enabling acts, destruction of oppositional political parties, changes in the constitutional systems and the construction of non-democratic state are mentioned in my article. The contribution proved that the local form of fascism had been built in Czechoslovakia. On the other hand only several months of the Second Republic thwarted attainment of this target.
