Description | Horn instruments preserved in the collection of the Ohrada castle illustrate interestingly an importance of hunting music as well as they present hunting horn as the symbol of gamekeeping during the baroque period. The collection comprises signal instruments used during hunting for transmission of informations via simple signals, and developed (advanced) musical instruments enable musicians to full-blown play. Above all especially remarkable is the parforce horn by Michael Lechamschneider dated 1705. |
