• Description: In the presented monograph published electronically, authors (doc. PhDr. Bedřich Crha, CSc., Mgr. Šárka Vaňková, Mgr. Radka Binderová, MgA. Marek Olbrzymek, Mgr. Markéta Prudíková , Mgr. Lucie Sochová, Mgr. Kateřina Šrámková a PhDr. Marek Sedláček, Ph. D.) theoretically reflect the results of an extensive empirical sociological research (MUNI/A/0711/2012), which a research team of the Department of Music at the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University conducted in Brno in 2013. The authors examine the musical preferences of the university students in the selected EU countries to the classical music and non-artistic music and compare the results with the situation in the Czech Republic according to recent researches (MUNI/A/0885/2011).
